About me

I am Steffen Grasalewski, an internationally renowned osteopath, physiotherapist, and performance specialist. With over two decades of experience, I have had the privilege of working with Olympic athletes, world champions, and elite sports teams. My mission is to guide athletes to achieve their peak physical and mental performance, ensuring rapid recovery, injury prevention, and long-term success.

Since 2000, I have been a dedicated physical therapist. After completing my initial training, I specialized further in lymphatic drainage and edema therapy, followed by advanced manual therapy education. My continuous pursuit of knowledge led me to earn a degree in osteopathy from the Osteopathic School of Germany (OSD) in Hamburg. To complement my medical expertise, I also became a certified NLP coach, trained directly by Richard Bandler, founder of the American Society of NLP.

While I include select images to highlight my journey, I believe that results and relationships speak louder than public displays. My focus is always on delivering high-quality care and performance, regardless of external recognition.

Sport, Sport, Sport

Sport has always been a central part of my life. As a rower, I was invited to train at the Olympic Training Center in Dortmund under Mr. Petersmann, where I competed successfully in regattas and served as the stroke of the German eight. This role gave me not only the responsibility to set the rhythm but also to tactically drive the race—an experience that deepened my understanding of both the physical and mental demands athletes face. Unfortunately, a knee injury abruptly ended my competitive career, plunging me into both mental and physical struggles. At that time, physiotherapy wasn’t as advanced, and the mental challenges were immense.

These challenges became the driving force behind my passion to help other athletes. I have worked with American football players, soccer players, ice hockey players, rowers, and judokas, leading to my involvement with Olympic sports. My expertise allowed me to support professional athletes at numerous national championships, Grand Slams, European and World Championships, and the Olympic Games.

Performance was always expected, and I was invited to support athletes during training camps and competitions, ensuring they were in peak condition for their events.

That’s when my journey began. From Europe to Africa, and through Russia, Asia, and America, I gathered invaluable experiences, learning both conventional and unconventional methods not taught in Germany.

The ‚Golden Hands‘

While I work meticulously and scientifically, my patients often describe my hands as magical. Athletes, in particular, frequently say, “Steffen, it doesn’t hurt as much with you as with others, yet you achieve incredible results.” My ability to combine precision with an intuitive, gentle touch has earned me their trust and gratitude.

I’m humbled and deeply grateful for these abilities that seem to have been gifted to me.

Commitment to Team and Athlete Performance

When I join a team, my entire focus is on restoring each athlete to their peak as efficiently as possible. Whether dealing with acute or chronic injuries, I use the most effective techniques to accelerate recovery. My approach involves hands-on therapies, individualized exercises, and real-time feedback so athletes immediately feel and see improvements in mobility and performance. My priority is the well-being of the team, ensuring that every player is back in the game as quickly and safely as possible.

Mental Shift

I often notice that athletes struggle to make progress and face obstacles in reaching their goals, often due to both training methods and mental blocks. These mental barriers make achieving success unnecessarily difficult. Through trances and hypnotic language patterns, I can access the subconscious and turn it into an ally—a magnet pulling athletes toward their goals. If you’re ready, we can activate this magnet. I am passionate about offering this, and it brings me great joy to see the transformation in athletes.
